How quickly can I start using SafePod Backup?

Access is delivered immediately after successful payment. You can sign in, configure your first backup, and run it within minutes.

What can I back up?

Cloud drives (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Dropbox), workstation files (macOS and Windows), NAS and SMB file shares, and PostgreSQL and MySQL databases. If you're not sure whether your setup is supported, contact us before subscribing.

How is my data encrypted?

Your data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.3 (with fallback to TLS 1.2 where required) and at rest using AES-256-GCM. Encryption keys are managed in AWS KMS; customer-managed keys are available on Pro and Custom plans.

Where is my data stored?

Accepted Answer

On AWS infrastructure in your chosen region: Frankfurt (eu-central-1), Dublin (eu-west-1), or N. Virginia (us-east-1). Data stays in the region you select; replication is across availability zones within that region only.

Do you offer refunds?

All sales are final and non-refundable once access is provided. Because access is delivered immediately after payment, we are unable to offer refunds. See the Terms of Service for details.

How does billing work?

Monthly subscription, charged at the start of each billing period in EUR. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, SEPA Direct Debit, and iDEAL (EU) via Stripe. Annual billing is available on request.

What happens if a payment fails?

We'll notify you and attempt to retry the charge. If payment cannot be collected, access may be paused until billing is updated.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. You can cancel future renewals at any time from your account. Cancellation stops future charges; previously paid periods are not refunded.

Do you offer SLAs or compliance certifications?

We target 99.9% monthly uptime as a best-effort objective; service credits are available on Pro and Custom plans (see your order form). We do not yet hold third-party certifications such as SOC 2 or ISO 27001 — they are on our roadmap and we'll publish them only when formally completed.
